Creating a clear and flexible visual language for geothermal energy — from technical explanations to presentations, campaigns and stakeholder communication.
A visual language for a new energy category
Geothermal energy is simple in principle, but complex to explain. For Innargi, the challenge was to communicate a highly technical subject to very different audiences — from energy professionals and municipalities to local communities.
The solution was a visual language that combines strong typography, a distinctive colour palette, photography, diagrams and clear information hierarchies — making complex information easier to understand without oversimplifying it.

Turning technology into visual stories
A key part of the work was translating processes that take place kilometres below ground into communication people can quickly grasp.
Technical diagrams were developed as part of the overall identity rather than as isolated engineering graphics. Colour, scale, illustration and typography work together to explain how geothermal heat is found, extracted and connected to the existing district heating system.
